Pine Valley Middle School Principal / Campus Behavior Coordinator

Kesha Cauley

Principal, Middle School

Hello Mustang Families!

My name is Kesha Cauley, and I am honored to serve this community as the Principal of Pine Valley Middle School. My journey to Texas began when I moved from Minnesota to attend Prairie View A&M University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in biology (pre-med) with a minor in chemistry while playing collegiate soccer. My passion for people inspired me to pursue educational leadership. I went on to earn my master’s in educational administration and principal certification from Sam Houston State University.

My career in education began right here at the middle school level, teaching science and coaching soccer. Before transitioning into administration, I taught high school biology and Earth and space science, while also serving as the head girls' soccer coach. For the past six years, I have had the privilege of working within this wonderful community, and I am excited to continue preparing our Mustangs for high school and beyond.

Outside of school, my husband (and college sweetheart) and I are raising two wonderful children. My dedication to this community grows deeper every day, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to invest in our collective future.

Dean of Instruction

Mallorie Kemp

Dean of Instruction/IB Coord

My name is Mallorie Kemp, and I am excited to serve as the dean of instruction at Pine Valley Middle School and the IB Programme Coordinator for Highlands Middle School. I came to Texas from Louisiana after attending the University of Louisiana Monroe to earn both my bachelor's and master's degrees in English.

My career in education began as an English teacher, where I developed a passion for helping students grow as readers, writers, and critical thinkers. Since then, I have had the opportunity to serve as an instructional coach and campus leader, supporting teachers, strengthening instruction, and helping create meaningful learning experiences that allow all students to succeed.

My family is the heart of everything I do. My husband is a coach, and together we are raising our two amazing daughters. Whether we're spending time on the court, exploring new adventures, or simply enjoying time together, I am grateful for the love, laughter, and perspective they bring to my life.

I am honored to be part of the Mustang family and look forward to partnering with our students, staff, and families this year!

My name is Craig Wheaton, serving as Assistant Principal and I am excited to work with you all! I’ve dedicated my career to fostering student success and supporting teachers through purposeful leadership in public education. I’ve been in education for 10 years. I served as the assistant principal in Willis ISD for three years prior to joining New Caney ISD. In my leadership experience , I’ve managed a wide range of responsibilities—from overseeing 504 and ARD meetings, to supporting special education and ELA instruction, to coordinating campus transportation and safety.

Before stepping into administration, I taught 7th and 8th grade English Language Arts in Aldine ISD for seven years.
