Counseling
Middle school counselors play a crucial role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students. They work with students, teachers, parents, and administrators to create a positive and inclusive school environment. Middle school counselors help students develop academic skills by assisting with individual planning and providing guidance curriculum, responsive services, and system support. Counselors also offer counseling services, crisis intervention, and guidance on social skills and conflict resolution.
School counselors must implement a comprehensive school counseling program in accordance with state law and guidelines. Information about COUNSELING can be found in the Student Code of Conduct & Handbook on page 45. Parents can choose each school year to remove their child from the services provided under this program. You can remove your child for the 2025-2026 school year by emailing your request to remove your child from counseling services to your child's counselor.
